The Genius Bar is an Apple thing, not an AT&T thing, and even that isn’t populated with a multitude of available “geniuses,” so.what do you think the friggin AT&T customer “service” 24 hour phone center is populated with? Hmmm? And I don’t know about these glitches, notifications, and account issue alerts(or whatevers), but.maybe something IS wrong with your account, Negative Nancy. You can put your already late bill off for another three weeks(and promise to pay by “Web/Other,” say what!), or you can find that phone number from that missed call with no voicemail from that dude that you forgot to save into your contacts(or, for that matter, call back), like, two weeks ago(so it ain’t in your call log anymore) in your detailed usage history, all by logging in with your thumbprint and typing exactly zero words. One can look up practically anything one desires or needs to without having to log into the old interwebs or use the Google machine. People, please, we all know AT&T is, like, the proverbial poster child of customer service SUCKAGE, but this here situation is about THE APP. Finally had a service rep actually be truthful to me and say I was at the end their service range and that we should switch providers, so I went to Spectrum and now my speed tests run at least 200 Mbps if not more. Couldn’t stream any of the On Demand movies because they kept stopping and buffering. When I finally got ahold of a live person (took over 45 minutes each time) they would do something on their end that would “fix” the service issue for 30 minutes but as soon as I got off the phone with them it would get bad again. Have swapped out the gateway 5 times over the past 3 years and have had multiple field techs in my house. Probably spent over 100 hours on hold or talking to a service rep who would just say “restart your gateway”. Speed tests were consistently in the 1.3 to 3.0 Mbps range even though I had purchased the top package (was told that fiber service isn’t available in my area). Finally reached the end of my rope while working from home this past year and it took 15 minutes to save a small file. Have struggled for the past couple years with spotty connectivity and WiFi dropping off.
